This tier list ranks how you should invest cash and Enchant Tokens across workers while the experience is still in early development under SeydoLiszt. Exact worker names and stats can shift between patches, so treat the ranks as priority archetypes tied to the official loop: serve drinks, expand capacity, hire & upgrade workers, and enchant them with tokens from special customers.

S-tier priority: throughput anchors

Primary servers / baristas who clear drink orders. Anything that shortens the time between order taken and drink delivered belongs at the top. In a five-player server with limited plot space, one strong serving worker multiplies every seating unlock you buy later.

Why S-tier:

• Directly reduces lost customers during rushes
• Makes expansion purchases from Expand Cafe actually profitable
• Benefits hardest from early Enchant Tokens

Spend your first reliable Enchant Tokens here before cosmetics or pastry-only helpers.

A-tier: support that protects the loop

Upgrade-focused workers and secondary servers. Once the main barista keeps the counter moving, a second pair of hands or a worker with strong upgrade scaling keeps evenings from collapsing. A-tier staff are also the right home for your second wave of tokens.

Invest when:

• You already followed How to Play and can solo a light rush
• Seating upgrades are outpacing your brew speed
• Special customers appear often enough that tokens are no longer ultra-rare

B-tier: expansion enablers

Workers who shine after you unlock more floor space or pastry stations. These hires look weak in a tiny starter cafe but spike once Customization + Pastries content is online and you need coverage across a wider floor. Do not enchant them first.

Pair B-tier hiring with the renovation tips in Pastries & Customization. Decor that attracts guests without staff to serve them only increases rage quits.

C-tier: situational / vanity

Late cosmetics-adjacent roles, temporary fillers, or workers you hired just to clear a tutorial prompt. Keep them if they are free, but dump cash into S/A upgrades instead. If you accidentally enchanted a C-tier unit, stop and redirect future tokens using the enchant guide.

Enchant Token spending order

1. S-tier active server
2. Best A-tier backup
3. Only then B-tier pastry/floor coverage
4. Never C-tier until the cafe prints surplus cash

Tokens drop from special customers, not from ordinary traffic. That scarcity is why this tier list exists — a wrong enchant is expensive in early development when soft resets and balance patches still happen.

Cash upgrade order (before enchanting)

1. Unlock the hire slots you need (see Workers Hub).
2. Level the S-tier worker’s core upgrade path.
3. Buy the next seating/station only when queue times are under control (Expand Cafe).
4. Sweep Codes for free cash to accelerate the same path — never for impulse decor.

How to use this list in a live session

• After loading in, note which worker currently handles drinks.
• Compare their clear speed to customer spawn rate.
• If waits grow, upgrade or enchant S-tier before buying more chairs.
• If the floor is empty, expand capacity instead of over-investing in staff.
